Year 3

A very warm welcome to our new Year 3 class!

Mr Hill and Mrs Doherty are looking forward to the year ahead with our new class. They are an enthusiastic and talented group of children who will be guided throughout the year by our class saint, Saint Teresa of Calcutta. During her time as a teacher, her kindness, generosity and unfailing commitment to her students' education was evident. She sought to lead them to a life of devotion to Christ, something in which we strive to offer all of our children at Holy Family. This will be expressed through the means of assemblies, weekly collective worships and whole school Mass, which Fr Fretch will deliver in Church.

Our children will be offered a wide and creative curriculum throughout the week, where we will use verbal, practical and written methods of learning to really boost the children throughout the coming school year.

The children will also be involved in Choral Outreach, an exciting programme where they will learn beautiful hymns and songs. They will then have the opportunity to perform at St. Chads Cathedral in December; we are sure they will love and benefit from this.
