On Friday October 7th, the children in Year 5 celebrated the feast day of St John Henry Newman, whose feast day is on October 9th.
We wore our own clothes and had a class party to celebrate this special day. During our collective worship, we prayed to St John Henry Newman and thanked him for inspiring us in everything that we do.
We thought about how he was loving and compassionate towards others and we will try to follow his example in our own lives.
