During this week, Year 5 led the whole school in a moving and powerful reflection of the Stations of the Cross.
Each station was acted out with reverence, helping everyone present to enter into the solemn journey that Jesus took on his way to the cross.
The children spoke clearly, ensuring that every word could be heard and understood. Through their performance, they helped us all to pause and reflect on Jesus’ suffering, love, and sacrifice. Their actions reminded us not just of the pain Jesus went through, but also of the hope and love that shines through the Easter story. Thank you, Year 5, for guiding us so beautifully through this powerful and prayerful experience.
Thank you to Mr Osbourne, Mrs Lloyd and Mrs Patru for preparing the children for the stations of the cross and a special word of thanks to Mrs Aldred who led with the music and singing.
