We welcomed Brendan from St Chad’s Sanctuary who led our morning assembly.
He explained the important work that St Chad’s Sanctuary do to support refugees who come to Birmingham. Brendan talked about the countries that refugees come from and explained that they usually have to leave their home because they are not safe living there anymore. The journey that refugees make is not an easy one and they face many dangers along the way.
Brendan’s talk was so informative and he explained how all our donations are used to support those in need. It was clear to see that Brendan’s vocation to helping others really makes a difference to people’s lives.
Brendan helped us to recognise how important it is to continue to work together in solidarity for the common good.
