Take Over Day was an opportunity to experience teaching and the fun you can have doing it. You feel connected to the children you are teaching.
We got to experience how it feels to work in a real job. We were able to see what the duties of a teacher are and how it can be difficult at times. You need to be confident, loud, clear in the instructions you give to children and dedicated in the time and effort you put into teaching.
It made us feel more independent because we were chosen for the position. We had to take our role seriously because we were teaching kids to be smart so they can do the job they want to do in the future.
We appreciated the opportunity. Never give up on your dreams.
