Kerry from Blue Cross taught us how to keep safe around dogs. This assembly taught us about the right way to approach and behave around dogs.
Kerry taught us about the three ‘Cs’ of Canine choice – check, call and count. She also told us about the signals to look out for when a dog needs to be left alone and how to react with dogs in the home and in public in order to stay safe.
By the end of our assembly we knew simple procedures to keep safe around dogs. We will remember all the advice that Kerry gave us when we are with our own pets and when we are out in the street or at the park. This will help us to keep safe around animals and help them to be happy too.
