On International Women’s Day, the children in Years 1 and 2 took part in a wonderful workshop about the life of Florence Nightingale. They learned about her life, handled artefacts and learned about why she is still important today,
The children explored her life and the impact she still has today on the training of nurses and the changes in hospitals. This also linked to our Catholic Social Teaching showing the importance of caring for the poor and vulnerable.
Thank you to Worcestershire Museum for coming to school today to help us with our learning.
