Year 1 celebrated the feast day of St Francis of Assisi, our class saint.
We all prayed and reflected on his great love and respect for animals and our environment. We also thought about his devotion to helping the poor and vulnerable. We all want to follow his example by taking an active role in caring for others and God’s creation.
We all had the opportunity to wear our home clothes and had a party in the afternoon, we shared chocolate animal biscuits and danced together! It was so much fun celebrating together and remembering our special saint.
