Year 6

The children in Year 6 are currently taught by Miss McDonagh and Mrs Lloyd with support from Mrs Young. We work closely with teachers from Year Five to ensure continuity throughout KS2 in order to develop the children’s learning effectively.

In Year 6 we strive to create a positive and happy atmosphere, in which the children can thrive and achieve their very best. The children are at the centre of everything we do and they receive a balanced and creative curriculum, with interesting and engaging lessons where they can learn in a cross-curricular manner.

Our Catholic faith is extremely important to us and we strive to ensure that we embody our mission in all that we do. Children plan and lead their own collective worships and we regularly join our local parishioners to celebrate mass at Holy Family Church.

Year 6 visit Alton Castle in the Autumn term. We encourage all children to attend as it provides a wonderful opportunity for children to explore their faith and try interesting and engaging new activities.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Miss McDonagh.
