Special Event - Epiphany Mass

10 January 2019

We gathered as a school and parish to celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

He was born to Mary and Joseph in a cattle shed and visited by the Shepherds and three wise men. During our Epiphany Mass we remembered the wise men came carrying gifts of Gold, fit for a king, Frankincense, incense to honour a priest and myrrh, an oil used to anoint a body after death. These three gifts all foretold the life that Jesus would live.

The Mass was led excellently by Year 6 who welcomed the parishioners into church, sang loudly and read clearly.
